Locust Grove Overpass
A new overpass of I-84 is under construction at Locust Grove Road. The overpass will include four vehicular lanes that will connect to a five lane roadway on either side of the bridge. Construction is scheduled for completion in Spring 2008.
Overland, Linder to Meridian
This project will widen the roadway from two to five lanes. It will include curb, gutter, and sidewalk on both sides of the roadway. It will also widen the Overland/Linder intersection. Construction will be complete in Fall 2007.
1st Street W., Washington to Cherry
This project will rebuild the road and install curb, gutter, and sidewalk. Construction will be complete in Summer 2007.
McMillan/Meridian Intersection
This project involves the reconstruction and widening of the existing intersection. It will also install a new traffic signal. Construction will be complete in Summer 2007.
I-84, Exit 44 (Meridian Road) to Exit 46 (Eagle Road)
The inside lanes of I-84 are closed in both directions for construction of a dynamic message sign foundation.
Broadway Avenue Road Work
Beginning Saturday, April 7, the City of Meridian's Public Works Department will begin upgrading water lines and installing new sewer pipes along Broadway Avenue between Meridian Road and N. East 5th Street in downtown Meridian. The project is expected to be completed in late Summer 2007. To learn more, click here.
