The Division Chief of Logistics position is a new position established to assist the Meridian Fire Department with purchasing of equipment and facilities including everything from station cleaning supplies to new stations and apparatus. The position also is responsible for all the maintenance of equipment apparatus and stations. The Logistics position is further responsible for Logistics Operations Chief in the event of a disaster or major incidents within the fire district and is currently the Shift Commander over "B" shift which includes 5 stations and 6 Captains with their assigned crews.
