Storey Park

3 pm - 10:30 pm.

Meridian Parks & Recreation is pleased to partner with the Meridian Speedway to bring the Independence Day Festival to the residents of Meridian to celebrate our country's freedom. The festival features inflatable toys, food vendors, kids games and live music. The evening culminates with a spectacular fireworks display that is visible throughout the Treasure Valley.

Check out the schedule of events below for the 2016 Independence Day Festival!

Please note: Due to safety concerns, we are no longer hosting the Safe and Sane fireworks area in the Chamber of Commerce parking lot. We hope you enjoy the events and public fireworks, but please leave personal fireworks at home.

The Bark Park will remain open during the day, but close a little early at 9:00 pm to secure the fireworks drop zone. Bark Park parking will be limited. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
