Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park Grand Opening

Please join us this Saturday, June 9, 2012, as the City of Meridian celebrates the Grand Opening of Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park – an incredible $25 million gift to the residents of Meridian from Gene Kleiner in honor of his late father.
The park is located at 1900 N. Records Avenue, near the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Eagle Road. If you attend, please enter the park from Fairview Avenue.

Park Dedication Ceremony at the Bandshell
Guest speakers, live music, ribbon cutting, refreshments

Live music by Big Wow and Hoochie Coochie Men, inflatables, guided walking tours, trolley rides, scavenger hunt, toy building, fishing, scrapbook entries, face painting, bocce ball lessons, and more!
Meridian Symphony Orchestra Concert at the Bandshell
Food and beverages will also be available for purchase from the park concession stand and a variety of food vendors who will be on-site for the grand opening day celebration.
