Heroes Park is a 30-acre community park established in 2008. It is themed in tribute to a variety of local and national American heroes in a variety of respected professions.

Half-Court Basketball Courts, Bench, Bike Rack, Seasonal Concession Stand, Drinking Fountain, Interpretive Display, Mutt Mitt Station, Off-Street Parking, Open Play Area, Pathway, Picnic Shelter, Playground, Stocked Fishing Pond, Restrooms, Soccer, Trash Receptacle, Trellis, Decorative Water Feature, Pollinator Garden, Bike Repair Station

Picnic Shelter Available to Rent:
Maximum capacity: 300 (generally 13 picnic tables)
Rental Fee: $40 plus tax per time block (9am-2pm or 4-9pm)
Rental includes access to power and use of free charcoal grill

Note: During times when there is not a paid reservation on a picnic shelter, it may be used for free on a first-come first-served basis.

Heroes Park has an additional small shelter located near the playground which is not reservable; it may be used on a first-come first-served basis.

Picnic shelters may not be reserved or occupied between 2:00 and 4:00 pm daily (with the exception of full-day reservations), as this is when crews come through to clean the shelters.

Multi-Use Athletic Fields

Heroes Park has five reservable multi-use athletic fields which can be rented at a rate of $5 per half hour or $75 maximum for the day.
