Generations Plaza Reflecting Walls

If you wish to consider honoring a loved one in another lasting way, you can purchase an engraved plaque to be placed on a brick in Generations Plaza, a small downtown park area located at the intersection of Main Street and Idaho Avenue. These memorial bricks cost $100 each.

The brick that you purchase will have a brass plaque inlayed with your dedication engraved upon it. You may purchase more than one brick and we will do our best to place them next to each other. Each brick can hold up to 48 characters, including spaces and punctuation.

Generations Plaza, which officially opened on June 18, 1999, is intended to give citizens a central gathering place in downtown Meridian. Among other things, the Plaza has several walls with engraved bricks, as well as four dedicated pillars, an antique style clock, a ground level fountain, a stage area, and mounting carvings depicting historical events of important to Meridian. During each December, Generations Plaza becomes the home of the City of Meridian Christmas Tree.

If you wish to purchase a brick, please contact the Meridian Parks and Recreation Office at (208) 888-3579  or via e-mail sent to: recreation@meridiancity.org.
