Planning Department - General Information
Staff Evaluation & Report-
The evaluation process for all council level decision applications (including Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinance amendments) includes an in-depth evaluation by the City Planner and preparation of a staff report. The process for evaluation of each application includes:
- consultation with other City departments and service providers,
- preparation of Staff Reports to the Planning Commission,
- preparation of the Planning Commission Recommendation and Summary of Hearing for the City Council,
- presentation of the application at the public hearings, and
- preparation of findings once the City Council has acted on the application.
