 In FY '04, approximately 43 miles of water pipe and
29 miles of sewer were installed in Meridian.
City Projects accounted for 9 miles of water line and 7 miles
of sewer with the remainder installed by developers.
 The Engineering and Development Services Divisions of the Public
Works Department are located on the 2nd floor of 660 E. Watertower. The Planning & Zoning and Building Departments
are also housed at this location.
 The City of Meridian Wastewater Treatment Plant
was built in 1978-79 at 3401 N Ten Mile Rd.
Numerous upgrades and expansions have
taken place over the last ten years.

 The City of Meridian domestic water system
is suppled entirely by deep wells. The City is served by 17 wells and approximately
300 miles of underground piping. (photo: one of several booster pump stations)
