Trash Collection & Billing

Please have your garbage set out by 7:00 A.M. and within 5 feet of the curb or alley on your collection day. If you have questions, call us at 888-3999.
You may put out as much waste as you generate from your home each week, so long as the cans or bags are within weight limits (60 pounds for cans, 35 pounds for bags).
All waste must be bagged or contained. No boxes. Use standard garbage cans that are no greater than 32-gallons in size or sturdy plastic bags at least 1.5 mil thick.
For a small fee, Sanitary Services provides 95-gallon cart service to the residents of Meridian. If you are interested in this service please contact us at 888-3999. While there are large garbage cans and wheeled carts for sale in stores, we are not able to service them with our trucks. If you want to use a can larger than 32-gallons, our 95-gallon wheeled cart is a handy alternative.
If you have any odd items such as large appliances, furniture, or other bulky items please call us at 888-3999 to arrange for a special collection.
