El Ada Community Action-- works to better focus available local, state, private and federal resources to assist low-income indivduals and families to acquire useful skills and knowledge, gain access to new opportunities and achieve economic self-sufficiency.  

Idaho Health and Welfare -- official site for the Idaho Dept of Health and Welfare.  Providing various forms of assistance.  Must meet eligibilty requirements.

Idaho Food Bank -- providing services to several communities.

Self-Rescue Manual -- a project of the Women and Childrens Alliance, providing service providers throughout the Treasure Valley.  Please note not all providers listed are free of charge.

Neighborhood Housing Services -- is a nonprofit, HUD-approved housing counseling agency.  Available to all Idaho residents, housing counseling services are FREE.
