Summary of FeesEffective October 2007 Water
New Construction(1) Required on some commercial projects when developer’s engineer/architect specifies a larger meter setter than the meter that is initially required. For example, a 2-inch setter is specified and a 2-inch meter will be used when the project is built-out. However, only a 1 1/2 –inch meter is initially needed, requiring the adaptor kit that the Water Division presently pays for. (2) Recovers cost of radio read transmitter unit on all new meters set. (3) Recovers full cost of a single MXU unit in situations where two meters cannot share a single meter vault. MXU units for most residential serve two meters serving two houses.
