Independence Day Celebration - American 250
Volunteers needed to help staff information table and lead family activities.
- Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
- Location: Storey Park
- Shift One: 3:00 - 6:00 pm
Shift Two: 6:00 - 9:00 pm
Art Spark - Saturday, August 29th
Shifts:
- 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
- 10:50 - 2:00 p.m.
- 1:50 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
10 Volunteers per shift, 4 shifts total.
Duties: Set up, staff the information table, assist with activities, tear down, and assist with trash pickup. Check in 10 minutes early.
- Early shift - Event set up. Helping vendors get to spaces, setting out supplies
- Middle shifts - staffing booths, helping with art activities and crafts, refilling bubbles and art supplies, trash pickup, and switching out trash receptacles.
- Final shift - Event clean up. Helping vendors load out, breaking down booths and art activities, putting and packing away art supplies. Trash cleanup.
Trunk or Treat - 4th Thursday of October (October 22, 2026)
Shifts:
- 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
4 for 1st shifts, 6-8 for second shift, Volunteers per shift
Duties: Set up, staff information table, pass out candy, judge trunks, tear down, trash pick up
- Shift 1: Set up booth canopies, tables, help with parking, and hand out candy at the Parks & Rec booth.
- Shift 2: Collapsing canopies, tearing down and loading tables, cleaning up trash, and handing out candy at the Parks & Rec booth. Most important shifts, handing.
*If your organization would prefer to run a trunk, you can fill out an application online. This is a separate opportunity.
